We are told where to begin
Matthew 6:33 says: “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you as well.”
I have come to realize this one sentence as the most basic ingredient for living, and the word that has always stood out to me is “first.” We are driven by the desire to obtain – material possessions, personal achievement, physical perfection…we strive first and we strive hard. But in this verse we are asked not to “do” first, but to seek. We are told where to begin.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God …
….. and have faith in His Word and His Healing Power, because you can do nothing without faith.
Ephesians 2:8 says: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is a gift of God – not by works, so that no-one can boast.” God saved you by his grace when you believed.
You will receive whatever you ask for in prayer, if you believe. Mark 11:24 says: “Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received, and it will be yours.” The secret is to believe by faith that you have already received whatever you are asking for, and to SPEAK as if you have received it, because the seeds you sow will bring a harvest (the words you speak and believe will manifest, whether it’s positive or negative).
There is power in the name of God, use his names when you pray. He is your healer, savior and many more.
Whatever you do in life, allow God to direct your path, future and destiny.
Faith is certain of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
